Mexican: Pico de Gallo (Master Recipe)

(makes 2 cups)
Classic Mexican flavor principle:
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 jalapeno, chopped
- 1 red onion diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Combine all ingredients
- Use immediately as “fresh salsa” with tortilla chips or tacos (can be stored in refrigerator in an air-tight container for about a week)
